Farm Planning Tool
One of the main tasks of the Caribbean Climate Hubis providing technical support and information to farmers and forest managers so they can adapt to long term trends in rainfall, temperatures and seasonality, and to plan and prepare for extreme climate events, such as drought, heat stress, floods, pests, fire, or hurricanes. As part of this mission, we created the Farm Planning Tool that will provide a quick summary of spatial information on soils, climate, hydrology, and topography for any area of farm or forest. We hope it will be useful to extension service providers, farmers, researchers, private landowners, and whomever may need explicit information about the geophysical characteristics of a land parcel.
How to use the tool? Link to the factsheet here (coming soon)
